I just didn't feel like staying indoors for a second consecutive weekend because of the weather. After the Heceta Head hike, staying indoors is not all that bad.
Richard O'Neillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02220291149016460968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954169774784248994.post-79980442333217959702014-02-18T19:28:49.155-08:002014-02-18T19:28:49.155-08:00The weather was just as bad today, I was thinking ...The weather was just as bad today, I was thinking we should have gone out again but Jennifer will be running out of windows if we keep it upRichard O'Neillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02220291149016460968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954169774784248994.post-80226373793019595922014-02-17T09:03:08.666-08:002014-02-17T09:03:08.666-08:00Wow is right - sounds like you and the club are no...Wow is right - sounds like you and the club are now taking it to the next level - Extreme Hiking! Glad to hear everyone made it through ok. Will have to venture up that way in the summer to see if we can find one of those shards that grew into a new rear window. May come in handy for us one day.Glenn and Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07753921250399375985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954169774784248994.post-57102006995741999632014-02-17T07:28:03.503-08:002014-02-17T07:28:03.503-08:00Here I sit, trying to decide if I will get out and...Here I sit, trying to decide if I will get out and hike as planned, or stay dry and warm at home. My phone, rumored to be smart make it look like there will be mostly sun, and doesn't mention wind.

The National Weather Service says:Washington's Birthday Rain likely, mainly before 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 46. West wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Compared to Heceta Head on the beautiful day that you hike, the forecast here is like a beautiful summer day in the mountains. I almost feel guilty for hesitating to do another hike on Mt Cleman with the excuse that it might rain. Jim Cumminshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13695504904718860954noreply@blogger.com
